How to Convert a WebVTT File to PDF

Add your VTT file – Drop the .vtt file into the box or click "Select File". The WEBVTT header, cue identifiers and cue settings such as position or alignment are recognized and left out of the text.
Check the cues and speakers – The summary shows the cues, the running time and – if the file uses voice tags – the number of speakers. The preview updates when you change an option.
Set up the transcript – Choose "Transcript with timestamps (table)" or "Plain transcript (paragraphs)", and turn "Speaker column" (or "Speaker names"), "Show end time" and "Page numbers" on or off.
Save it – Click "Create PDF", or "Download .txt transcript" for a text version.

Speaker names from voice tags – Cues written as a voice tag with a name, such as v Roger, become a speaker column in the table, or a name above each paragraph in the plain transcript. When the speaker changes within a cue, each speaker gets their own line.
Only the spoken text – NOTE comments, STYLE and REGION blocks are skipped (and counted), class, italic, bold, ruby and karaoke timing tags are removed, and entities such as & become normal characters.
Two layouts – A table with start time (and optionally end time), speaker and text, or flowing paragraphs with time marks at every paragraph or every 1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes.
Searchable PDF for most languages – Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text is stored as real text with embedded fonts, so the transcript can be searched and copied.

Speaker names only appear if the file contains voice tags. Captions that write names as plain text (for example "JOHN:") are kept as text.
Styling from STYLE blocks and cue positions is not reproduced; the PDF is a clean transcript, not a copy of how captions look on screen.
Captions in Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean or other complex scripts are laid out correctly, but the PDF pages are images, so that text cannot be selected.
