How to Remove Blank Pages from a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF. Every page is checked, and blank pages are marked "Remove".
  2. Look through the pages. Click a page to keep it or to remove it.
  3. Click "Remove blank pages". The new PDF is downloaded; all other pages stay exactly as they are.

How blank pages are found

Each page is drawn in your browser and compared with its own paper colour, so grey or yellowish scanned paper still counts as blank. Tiny dust specks and the dark edges a scanner leaves around the page are ignored. A page with any real text on it is never treated as blank.

Remove Blank Pages – Frequently Asked Questions

How do I delete blank pages from a PDF?

Choose the PDF, check the pages marked "Remove" and click "Remove blank pages". The PDF without the blank pages is downloaded.

Does it work with scanned documents?

Yes. Scanned pages are compared with their own paper colour, so grey paper, dust and scanner edges do not stop a page from being recognised as blank.

Can a page with content be removed by mistake?

Pages with real text are never marked. Pages with very little on them, such as a single signature, can be close to blank, so you see every page and can change any choice before downloading.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are checked and removed by your browser on your own device.

Is it free?

Yes – no sign-up and no watermark.
