How to Edit PDF Bookmarks

  1. Choose your PDF. Its bookmarks are listed with their titles and page numbers.
  2. Rename a bookmark, change its page, move it with the arrows or indent it to place it inside the one above. Add new bookmarks one by one or paste a whole table of contents.
  3. Click "Save and download". The pages of the PDF are not changed.

Why bookmarks matter

Bookmarks are the clickable table of contents in the side panel of a PDF reader. In long reports, manuals, theses and contracts they let readers jump straight to a chapter.
