How to Convert a PDF to Dark Mode

Add your PDF – Drop the file into the box above. The first page appears in dark mode right away.
Pick the colours – Choose "Dark grey", "Black (OLED)", "Midnight blue", "Warm dark", "Sepia (light)" or "Custom", and lower the "Text contrast" if the text is too bright.
Check the pages – Browse the pages and tick "Show original" to compare. Leave "Keep photos in their original colours" on to keep pictures as they are.
Create the PDF – Click "Create dark PDF". The download starts when it is ready.

Colours that still make sense – Dark text becomes light and white paper becomes dark, while colours keep their hue: red stays red, blue links stay blue.
Photos left untouched – Pictures keep their colours. Scanned pages, diagrams and drawings on white paper are darkened together with the text.
Six colour schemes – Five ready-made schemes, including black for OLED screens and a light sepia, plus your own background and text colours.
Choose the pages – Convert all pages or only some, for example 1-3, 5; the other pages are copied unchanged.
Quality you choose – Standard (150 DPI), High (200 DPI) or Very high (300 DPI). Page sizes and orientation stay the same.
