Live preview of the printed sheet. The dashed line shows the page margin and is not printed. Pages are placed as vectors, so text stays sharp and selectable.

Combine several pages of a PDF onto a single sheet – the same as the "pages per sheet" option in a print dialog, but saved as a new PDF you can print anywhere, share or keep.
Choose how many pages to fit on each sheet. Two pages per sheet is ideal for books and reports, four or six for lecture slides, and nine or sixteen for quick overviews and thumbnails.
Pages are placed as vector content, not converted to images. Text stays crisp at any zoom level, remains searchable and selectable, and the file stays small.
Arabic and Hebrew books read from right to left, so the first page should be on the right. Choose right-to-left order and your pages are arranged the way they are read.
Pick A4, A3, A5, Letter or Legal paper, set the margin and the spacing between pages, rotate pages automatically for the best fit, and add borders or the original page numbers.
Everything happens in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded, there is no queue, and even large documents are processed in seconds.
Fitting several pages on one sheet cuts printing costs in half or more. Here is where it helps most.
Students can print lecture slides four or six per page to review a whole lecture on a few sheets, with room to write notes in the margins.
Two pages per sheet on landscape A4 gives a comfortable, book-like reading layout while halving the paper used for long documents.
Nine or sixteen pages per sheet create a contact sheet of the whole document, perfect for checking layout, page breaks and design consistency.
Turn a long presentation exported as PDF into a compact handout for meetings and workshops, with borders and page numbers so everyone can follow along.
How the layout is calculated and what each option does.
Each page count uses a fixed grid: 2 (2×1), 4 (2×2), 6 (3×2), 8 (4×2), 9 (3×3) and 16 (4×4). In "Best fit" mode, the tool tries both portrait and landscape paper and picks the one where your pages appear largest.
When a page fits better turned sideways – for example landscape slides in a portrait grid – it is rotated by 90° automatically. Turn this off to keep every page upright.
Each original page is embedded as a Form XObject using PDF-Lib. Fonts, vector graphics and images are reused from the original file instead of being rasterized, so quality is identical and file size grows very little.
The margin is the empty border around the sheet and the spacing is the gap between pages, both in millimetres. Pages of different sizes are each scaled to fit their cell and centred, without distortion.
Upload your PDF, choose how many pages you want on each sheet (2, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16), check the live preview and click "Create PDF & Download". The new PDF contains the combined sheets.
No. Pages are placed as vector content, so text and graphics stay as sharp as the original and the text remains selectable and searchable.
N-up is the printing term for placing N pages on one sheet of paper – for example 2-up or 4-up. This tool creates an N-up PDF that you can print on any printer without special settings.
Choose 2 pages per sheet and leave orientation on "Best fit". For normal portrait pages, the tool automatically uses landscape paper with two pages side by side.
Yes. Select one of the right-to-left page orders, and the first page will be placed on the right side of the sheet, matching the reading direction of Arabic books.
No. All processing happens in your browser. Your document never leaves your device.
Yes. Choose odd pages, even pages or a custom range such as 1-10, 15, 20-25. Combining odd and even pages is also useful for manual double-sided printing.
Each page is scaled to fit its place on the sheet while keeping its proportions, then centred, so mixed sizes and orientations are handled correctly.
Only slightly. Because pages are embedded rather than converted to images, fonts and images from the original file are reused.
Protected files must be unlocked first. Use our Unlock PDF tool, then come back and create your sheets.
